“Whether that be a crochet caftan or a 3D applique, it will make your beach look feel elevated and more special.”įirstly, how much coverage your coverup provides depends on how much your skin you’re comfortable showing, as well as which styles you personally prefer-but there are other factors to consider, says Choi. “If you are going for an all-white beach look, look for ways to add texture,” she recommends. “Mesh, crotchet, and sheer styles are great options, as they hug the body nicely and look slightly more elevated.”Ĭhoi also loves these more textured styles for a bridal look. As such, “I recommend a lightweight fabric that drapes nicely, like thin spandex, linen, or cotton gauze,” says West.
